I have colored text in my Excel spreadsheet, however it will not print in
color. The shaded cells print ok and I'm only printing one spreadsheet on one tab (not a group of worksheets). Even print preview is in black and white. |

Check these:
1) File | Page Setup; open Sheet tab; look for Print .. Black & White (middle, left of dialog) 2) File | Print ; open printer properties and see if you have set it to print in greyscale best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "kskaug1" wrote in message ... Have you unchecked "Draft Quality" just below "Black and White"?

I don't have the option for "Draft Quality". I'm printing to a color printer
(Xerox machine) and the Color box has been checked (print function). If I convert this document to Adobe, it prints in the correct color, however I cannot get it to print out of Excel correctly. (where the text itself is in color). Thanks - "Gord Dibben" wrote: Have you unchecked "Draft Quality" just below "Black and White"? Yes, We did not check the Draft quality under Black and white. We tried to
print in Xerox color also. "kskaug1" wrote: I don't have the option for "Draft Quality". I'm printing to a color printer (Xerox machine) and the Color box has been checked (print function). I also have the same problem. My computer support has been trying to two
days to figure it out. The print preview shows black and white, and text prints in black and white, but cell background color and jpeg images that are inserted into the spreadsheet will print in color. We are about to re-install Office from the cd to see if this fixes the problem. Does anyone have any other suggestions? thanks Ed "Tu" wrote: Yes, We did not check the Draft quality under Black and white. We tried to print in Xerox color also. I'm having the same trouble. There was an 8/17/08 reply by "pf" to an
earlier post (5/12/08) by "Mike" entitled "Can not print in Color". In his reply "pf" noted that switching the printer to Adobe then back to the desired printer fixed the problem for "pf". I just tried it, and it worked. Still no word on the cause or long-term solution. Good luck. Erin "vrvj" wrote: I have the same problem. Sorry that didn't help. I wasn't able to find any other information on the

I don't know if you resolved this but I had the same problem and found the
answer. Here is the link or you can google the question like I did. It is a Xerox Workcentre 7655 driver failure to interact with the new PSCRIPT5.DLL from Microsoft: " Failure to Print Due to pscript5.dll ConflictFile Format: PDF/Adobe Acrobat - View as HTML WC 7655 families to print Excel color text (text prints black and white), and the failure ... resolve the Excel color printing issue.
