I am trying to resolve a functionality difference between the older version
of Excel which I use at home (2000 running on Windows ME) and the version I use at the office (2002 running on Windows XP). In the Toolbar of the 2000 version the Borders Icon provides and number of click options for inserting borders, while the 2002 version has in addition to this functionality a draw (and erase) border functionality with line style selections. This functionality is very useful and I'm trying to establish whether there's a downloadable update available that includes this or whether the functionality can be accessed in some other way? (For example there is a similar functionality that can be accessed in Word via Format/Borders and Shading/Show Toolbar, but this does not apply to Excel). So far I've downloaded all available updates, but to no avail. Has anyone got any suggestions? |
