Default lost macros

Hi,
We recently created a new user profile on one of our workstation and copied
all files and folders from the old profile over. Now it seems that the macros
for our excel spreadsheets are gone. When we try to pull up the list of
macros none are listed. Thanks for the help

Default lost macros

Look in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICExx\XLSTART for a personal.xls
file on the workstation where the macros worked and check that file for
macros

Hi Rick

Do a search in Windows for
personal.*

In this file you macros are I think ?
Normal it is in your XLStart folder so it open when you opn Excel

This is the path where you must copy the personal file

C:\Documents and Settings\Ron\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART
In Vista look here
C:\Users\Ron\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTA RT

Note: Ron is the username in the path above

That work seems like the personal.xls file didn't get copied over. Thanks!
