I am trying to find a way to default the ribbon to open when Excel 2007 is
opened with the IE browser. We use an ERP software that requires an add-in. Our application runs very well when the xls files open in the same window (browser) in Office 2003. Now that we loaded Office 2007, the ribbon does not default to display in IE6 or IE7 when the xls file type is set to "browse in same window". Anybody know a workaround besides manually displaying the drilldown for each window? We prefer not to change the setting off for "browse in same window", because our users are used to the browser version of Excel. |
