Default Excel default browser for Win2003

Our problem is that clicking on a link in Excel opens Mozilla Firefox (2.x)
instead of IE7, despite us selecting "No" to the prompt Firefox gives when
it starts up about selecting it as the default browser. Also, as we
recently discovered, Microsoft does not include the Program Access and
Defaults interface as part of Add & Remove Programs in Windows 2003.

Is there a fix/registry change we could implement to force Excel to open
links with IE7, or must we uninstall Firefox entirely to resolve this issue?
