Hi there, I am trying to apply a colur that is contained in one workbook to
another workbook. This would be similar to a legend whereby the colour format for name a in workbook one shows the same colour format in workbook 2 and then again for name b and name c and so on. The colur changes from name to name, so it is simply automatically transpoing the info, just not sure how to |

You can copy and paste (or paste special|values and formats). But if you're
retrieving the value using a formula, then you've seen that formulas don't retrieve formats. You can't link color. You can use Conditional Formats. That is color a cell
