Default integers entered automatically divide by 10

It seems that my Excel 2003 has adefault which causes any integer that is
entered to be automatically divided by 10 when entered into the cell. Can
anyone please tell me how to remove this annoying feature?

Many thanks in advance.

Many thanks. I thought it must be something straightforward but I was
checking ''cell properties''. Once you know..........
