Default why does the toolbar have a button, $ and is said currency,it giv.

Whay does the toolbar have a button with a $ sign and indicates it will give
you currency, in fact it gives you the accounting format

It's possible that someone's been messing with the 'Style's.
To fix Currency, go to...
FormatStyleStyle NameCurrencyModify
You will notice that the Category is 'Accounting' but the Symbol should be
'$'.
