Whay does the toolbar have a button with a $ sign and indicates it will give
you currency, in fact it gives you the accounting format |

It's possible that someone's been messing with the 'Style's.
To fix Currency, go to... FormatStyleStyle NameCurrencyModify You will notice that the Category is 'Accounting' but the Symbol should be '$'.
