Calculating Time Values in Excel
Hi everyone,
I hope you can help. I am trying to create a spreadsheet which will calculate time values. The sheet I am creating will be a time bank statement whereby a customer has a number of hours available. We then enter times of how long time has been spent working on various jobs. At the end of the spreadsheet it will then say how much time is left. What I want the sheet to do is present a negative value for if they have used more time than was available. For example, if a customer has 2 hours, and we spend 3 hours working for them, they are 1 hour 'overdrawn'. DOes this sound relatively straightforward? I managed to get it to calculate times, but when there was a negative value, it went a bit nuts!! Any help would be great! Thanks James Stelfox |
