Default Adding time in Excel

I am trying to add time in excel -- not time in a day but total hour slike
25:30 hours plus 25:30 hours is 51 hours total. Currently the only thing I
can find adds time as in a 24hour clock day not in total hours

Any suggestions?

Hi
format the resulting cell with the custom format
[hh]:mm
and use a formula such as
=A1+B1
