Modifying If Statement
Right now I have the formula =IF(Sheet1!A4="11",H4,""). I want to include
"12" in this formula so that if "11" or "12" is in cell A4 the contents of cell H4 will appear in the cell where this formula resides. Any thoughts? |

Modifying If Statement
Try this:
=IF(OR(Sheet1!A4="11",Sheet1!A4="12"),H4,"") Are you sure you mean "11" and "12" (in quotes) rather than just 11 and 12 ? Hope this helps. Modifying If Statement
Hey,
Thanks for your feedback. Maybe I made a mistake or I am not giving good instructions. It is not working. I wrote another post called Making Blank Cells, I think that may be more specific as to what I am trying to do;perhaps easier to. Thanks, Ed "Mike H" wrote: Hi, =IF(OR(Sheet1!A4=11,Sheet1!A4=12),H4,"") Mike "Workbook" wrote: Right now I have the formula =IF(Sheet1!A4="11",H4,""). Modifying If Statement
Good point regarding the quotes. I tried both ways with no luck. I think
maybe I didn't apply the formula correctly or what I am looking for is not specific enough. I created another post called called Making Blank Cells, I think its more specific regarding what I am trying to do;I think it will probably be easier to figure out to. Thanks for your feedback. You're welcome, but it would be better to keep related things in the
same thread.
