Default Can I copy my protection settings from 1 workbook to another?

I am working on two workbooks, one of which I am using as a master. I have
set up protection settings in my master that I need to transfer over to a
working copy. Is there an easy or quick way of transferring the settings??
The reason is that the master copy is where all of my computations are
performed and my pivot tables are kept at, while my working copy is updated
everyday and these updates are kept on daily tabs within the working copy
workbook. So, for example, today's updates are kept on a tab for 9/10 and
tomorrow's updates will be inputted on a tab marked 9/11. I want to protect
each daily working copy worksheet except for a couple of columns for data
inputs. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

How do you propose to name the sheets 9/11 or 9/10

Excel 2003 and earlier won't accept the forward or back slash in a
sheetname. But maybe in 2007 it is legal?

I would start with one sheet with all the formatting you want including
protection then just copy that sheet and name the copy(ies) as you wish.
