Default Deleting Text Boxes

I have inherited a spreadsheet which for some strange reason has literally
thousands of small text boxes scattered throughout the sheets. I know how to
delete one at a time but I was wondering if there was a way to SELECT ALL
text boxes in a sheet and hit delete once.

Any ideas?

Default Deleting Text Boxes

Press F5, select Special then Objects and hit delete, beware that it will
select all objects not only text boxes
