Default select range of specific hidden worksheet of closed protected work

I've numerous identicle protected workbooks that use a form to populate
various hidden worksheets within the workbook.

I'd like to collect the data from the related hidden worksheets for all
workbooks in a directory. I'd rather (possibly using ADO) not have to open
all the workbooks

How do I reference a range in a specific hidden worksheet in a closed
protected workbook?

Solutions I've researched by Ron De Bruin and others come close
perhaps if there is specifications of how to programmatically reference a
range past...
