Default Wrapping Text in a cell limitations - Excel 2003

When wrapping text in a cell (Excel 2003), does the wrapping only apply to a
limited amount of characters? I notice the wrapping stops after a certain
point. Is there a work around?

It stops around 1024 characters. You can overcome it by doing Alt+Enter
periodically within the data.

FLHOIT,
If you type in "Excel specifications and limits" into help and look fo
"Length of cell contents" you might see where your problem is at.
For my version 2002 it reads:
Length of cell contents (text) 32,767 characters. Only 1,024 display i
a cell; all 32,767 display in the formula bar.

That's true, but if you use what I posted, you can exceed 1024.

Tom,
Thanks for the additional info. I have used altenter alot fo
formatting reasons, I did not know you could circumvent the 1024 limi
by using it. I occasionally need that many characters in cell an
always ended up splitting the information between cells
