Default VBA Question

I am not sure what I am after I am hoping some one can help me, I have a
database where quite a few of my clients have the same surname, What do I
use I have seen in many programs you write in a textbox or something
similar - "jo,bl" and it lists all the names which have the corresponding
starts to their names.

I hope anyone can understand what I am talking about and can tell me what I
need to do this with a userform I am creating

Thanks in advance

Greg

Default VBA Question

I know I am asking a strange question just I liked what I have seen. I
would love to use that style. It looks like a textbox above a listbox. I
am trying to use a combobox but cant seem to set it up to do this, or I am
doing this wrong.

I am not sure what is SQL?

Sorry to be a pain

Thanks again

Greg

Default VBA Question

Hi,

I think the functionality you are looking for basically uses the
textbox.change event. You would then use VBA to filter your list - I know
this is brief, but I hope it will you some direction..
