![]() Thanks very much for your responses. I am now using only an .xlA file on the shared network drive. It i never installed as an add-in (is there any disadvantage to doing this Bob?). When I execute a macro (via clicking on a macro icon in the Standar Toolbar) and then want to edit the code, I key 'Alt+{F11}' and selec the Module of interest and 'View Code'. I can then make any desire changes and click-on the 'Save' icon to preserve those changes in th .xlA file. I would like to 'Step Into' a macro in the .xlA file. After openin the Editor, I click-on the 'Continue' icon and the macro library windo pops up; I select the macro of interest and click-on the 'Step Into button. I then get the yellow arrow indicating 'Step Into' mode however, I cannot get the macro to execute line-by-line by using th {F9} key (although I can get the macro to run continuously between tw code lines by clicking in the margin and inserting a brown circle nex to each of the two code lines of interest). I would like to be able t 'Step' line-by-line between two brown circles.
