Default How do you get a spreadsheet button back?

Problem - My friend has taken the define button out of where excel puts
it by default and placed it in his own toolbar (which he created) this
worked well until he decided to try and put it directly out on the
spreadsheet which as you know removes it completely from off the
system.

Question - How do I now get it back for him?

If you're talking about InsertNameDefine...........

ToolsCustomizeToolbarsWorksheet Menu BarReset.

If that would destroy too many customizations, try this step instead.

ToolsCustomizeCommandsBuilt-in Menus.

Scroll down to Name and move that up to the Insert menu.

Drag the faulty one off.

If something else, post back.

Hi Gord Dibben,
I eventually tracked this problem down and it was in the .xlb file
which Excel creates. If the current .xlb file does not exist then Excel
creates a new one for you. So by renaming it, Excel created a new
default file with all the toolbar information back in.
Thanks for your suggestion though
