Ken this is going to sound a bit weird
Highlight it with your mouse. Doing this allows it to slide back and forth across the formula. Once you're in the area you have to edit click to unhighlight and edit the portion you need to. Sounds weird. But when weird works who's gonna argue? "Ken Johnston" wrote: Hi , I have a rather long formula which has been given a name. I need to edit it occasionally but when I choose INSERT - NAME - DEFINE and choose the "name" the formula appears in the refer box as expected. However only the first 63 characters can be edited. I cannot scroll along to the remaining characters. At the moment I am having to rewrite the formula again. Anyway around this without resorting to writing the formula into a cell rather than the defined name? Ken |
