Default How to write macros

I need to write an Excel macro. Is there a tutor somewhere, or simple
directions? I need to move specific data from one spreadsheet to another. I
would need to identify the range in the first spreadsheet, to paste into the
second sheet.

I would create this report monthly, and sometimes the data is not in the
same range.

Any suggestions?

Hi Airies6,

You may wish to visit David McRitchie's 'Getting Started With Macros And
User Defined Functions' at:

http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/getstarted.htm

You might also look at David's tutorials page at:

http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel....htm#tutorials

The VBA material is towards the end of that section.

After a trip to David's site..........

For some sample code for copying data see Ron de Bruin's site.

Many good routines here.
