Cannot select checkbox to delete it from a spreadsheet
I had a spreadsheet that was just working just fine. I had to insert a bunch
of rows into the form. ONce I had done that it appeared that the checkbox had dissappeared. I just added another checkbox, but when I printed the worksheet after that, there was a "phantom" check box". I unhid some columns I had hidden, and was able to see the checkbox, (not where it was showing up on the printout), but am not able to select or delete it. Any input would be appreciated. Even if I have to deleete all of my checkboxes and add them in where needed again, that woudl be fine, I just need rid of this phantom. |

Right-Click Toolbar select "Visual Basics" from list. A Toolbar appears.
Select the "Design mode" button, (3rd one). You can now delete or set the properties for your objects. Right-Click the object click Format Control (if it is a shape object then Format autoShape) Click Properties Tab. Select "Don't move or size with cells" Click the Design Mode button to exit design mode. OK "Roundy" wrote: I had a spreadsheet that was just working just fine. Cannot select checkbox to delete it from a spreadsheet
I tried you suggestion, but was still unable to select the checkbox. Also,
if I click into the cell, like I would like to type text in there, the checkbox disappears. It appears again in print preview, or if I scroll around on the spreadsheet. Thanks for in advance for the help. "exceluserforeman" wrote: Right-Click Toolbar select "Visual Basics" from list. A Toolbar appears. Select the "Design mode" button, (3rd one). I was able to get ti selected by using the select multiple objects toolbar
option. Thanks for the posts, I really appreciate it. "Roundy" wrote: I tried you suggestion, but was still unable to select the checkbox.
