Default Excel 2007 Formulas look different

I received a spreadsheet of mine back from a coworker, and all my formulas
now look like =Totals!R[3]C[-1] instead of what I originally used =TOTALS!C73.

Anyone know why this changed, and how to change them back?

click on the multi-colored button on top left, then click Excel Options on
bottom. go to general tab and uncheck R1C1 reference style.

In Excel 2007:

reference styleOK out

Other versions of Excel:

Anyone know why this changed

The coworker may have had their version of Excel set to use R1C1
referencing.
