One possible explanation for the problem you describe is that the cells were formatted to Text. Text format tells Excel not to change anything that's typed or copied in. In the future, remember that people in this discussion group have no idea what you're doing with Excel. Saying "This what not what it used to be before" isn't very helpful. To get more accurate and quicker help, simply state what is happening, and what you want to happen instead. If it's "do what it did before", then tell us what that is. Does everybody care the way you do.....<grin Get a life mate..... |
