Default Highlite Duplicates in 2 Columns (Conditional Formating)

Hi,
I have 2 columns of data.
Both Columns can contain duplicates
How can I find duplicates in both columns.

A B
1 Car Toy
2 Ball Toy
3 Bed Bar
4 Car Toy
5 Ball Bar

A1, B1, A4 & B4 should be hi-lited with Conditional Formating

Eduardo, thanks for responding so quickly.
I started looking in cpearson.com/excel/Duplicates,
but was unable to make versions of his formulas work to hilight both
columns if both are duplicated.

Default Highlite Duplicates in 2 Columns (Conditional Formating)

It isn't clear whether you want to highlight duplicates within a
column (ignoring values in the other column) or look for duplicates
across both columns. Moreover, why are A2 and A5 not considered
duplicates, since both contain "Ball". Similarly, all the entries in
column B are duplicates of one another, so the all the entries should
be highlighted.


Provide more accurate details.
