Select all the cells you want to conditionally format. Select the
conditional formatting option. use the Formula choice in the Condition 1 box. Enter the formula for hte condition (H4I4 e.g.). Excel will use absolute references ($H$4). Change to relative references by editing or the F4 function key. Depending on what formula you want in you test, see if that works. "CP" wrote: Hi I have Col B which contains text I wish to format based on results from column H and I Meaning:- if H0 or I0 then make B bold now I can do this line by line but I wish to be able to simply copy it down the page, where I have failed upto now.
