Hi
When you save the excel sheet the Save As dialogue box will open where you need to specify the file name. On the same box you will find a drop down list named Tools. Click on Tools General Options. Here you will get the prompt for Password and Confirm Password. Enter the password and save the file. At the time of opening the file the user will need to enter this password. Hope it helps. Please click yes if it solves your issue. Avi "Manikandan" wrote: How can i protect a file by giving password? It should not open without correct password. How can i do this? |
