Default Formatting in Excel 2003

I have a cell formatted as custom with 000-000 that does a look up on another
spreadsheet. It has worked fine previously but out of the blue the format
started automatically changing to Special with the location 'Korean' and it
stops the look up because it changes the format. Any ideas why this is
happening? Thx

TamilL,

You have encountered a bug in Excel. Thank you for spotting it. I have
logged a bug and will let you know about what action they have decided to
take.

Thanks,
Vinay
