I have a workbook and when opened comes up as read-only. If I save with
another name, it does the same thing. Acting like the file is running in the background. I close Excel and reopen and still can't open the file without it being a read only. It is not set up that way and I've check the properties of this file. Any suggestions??? Thanks |

If you right click on the file icon, go to properties and make sure that the
read only box is not checked. Minnie "Carol" wrote: I have a workbook and when opened comes up as read-only. If I save with another name, it does the same thing.
