Default Excel 2003

I have been using a spreadsheet with formulas for years to track informaiton.
When I attempt to copy a single sheet of the workbook in to a new workbook
the formulas convert to values. I have copy and pasted, used the paint
brush.... The only solution I have found is to save as and delete the sheet
I do not want in the new work book. Is there an explanation for what is
happening?

Hi Smuessing,

uselly this happen if cell is already has format value.
so before pasting the formula use pant brush from a cell where formula is
working to where formula is not working.
do not use format option insted of paint brush.
