Default can macros include page setup functions?

I am trying to set up a macro that includes going to page setup and choosing
a watermark on the effects tab. I need to do this to about a hundred
worksheets, but have not been successful. Is this not possible?

I don't have an effects tab in my Excel (2000) so I can't test this out.

Try recording a macro in Excel and go through the process you need. Assuming
it records the process, the macro will give you the basics of what you need
to do.
