Default auto-save 2000

i am wondering is there a way to lock or set the auto save so that everytime
you reopen the work book it is not necessary to go through the autosave
prompt procedure? i don't want to do it for all wookbooks, only the one i am
actively working on.

any ideas?

Default auto-save 2000

Office 2000 Autosave had a bug which was corrected in a Service Release.

I don't know if those items would make a difference.

You did download the Service Pack...........right?

I have never used 2000 version so have never been able to test the SP fix.

Sorry, but no help other than the prior post directing you to the website.
