Default Problem With Drop Down Box

In Excel 2007, using the Drop Down box to go to a named range causes Excel to
abort and send an error message to Microsoft. If I just type in the name of
the range and hit ENTER, it works fine.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled from the original CD and installed Office
2007 SP-1, but the problem persists.

Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?
