Default Making selected cells more visible

In Excel 2007, among the many new things I'm trying to get used to is the
faint highlighting of selected cells. If I select a cell, or a range of
cells, Excel highlights the selection as it always has. But the contrast
between those highlighted cells and the unselected cells is inadequate in
this new version. Does anyone know if that's adjustable?

Hi
Regrettably not - in the current version.
Many people have complained about this, so lets hope a future SP will
resolve this issue.

Funny thing is when you reinstall Excel, it is fixed temporarily!

I don't have that problem at all! Maybe your monitor contrast/brightness may
need tweeking.
