Default Autofilter versus List

What is the difference between the 'Autofilter' and 'List' functions found
under the Data drop-down menu?

Default Autofilter versus List

List feature is new to Excel 2003.

Take a look at "What's New" under Help.

See section on Lists to get an idea of the functionality and features of Lists
as opposed to plain old Autofilter which has been around for many versions.
