Default Opening view

Whenever I open an Excel workbork, the bottom of the sheet (the tabs,
horizontal scroll bar) is hidden. I can move and resize the sheet to see the
bottom, but this is a pain to do every time. How do I change the default view
when opening a sheet?

Thanks

Restore original settings for new workbooks and worksheets

· In Windows Explorer, look in the XLStart folder in your Microsoft Excel
folder, and remove any template files that are listed in the following
table.

If the files aren't in the XLStart folder, look in the folder specified in
the Alternate startup file location box on the General tab in the Options
dialog box (Tools menu).

To restore original settings for Remove this file

Hi,

Do the following:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options. The Options dialog box appears.
2. Click the View tab.
3. Under the Window options section, select the Horizontal scrollbar,
Vertical scrollbar, Sheet tabs, Gridlines and Page breaks check boxes.
4. Click OK to save the settings and return to the worksheet.
5. On the File menu, click Save As.
6. In the Save as type list, select Template(*.xlt)
7. In the Filename text box, enter a name of the template file.
8. Click Save. This save the file name as atemplate file.

Important:

You can save a copy in the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE11\XLSTART. So that whenever you create a new excel document
this template is used.
