Opening view
Whenever I open an Excel workbork, the bottom of the sheet (the tabs,
horizontal scroll bar) is hidden. I can move and resize the sheet to see the bottom, but this is a pain to do every time. How do I change the default view when opening a sheet? Thanks |

Hi,
Do the following: 1. On the Tools menu, click Options. The Options dialog box appears. 2. Click the View tab. 3. Under the Window options section, select the Horizontal scrollbar, Vertical scrollbar, Sheet tabs, Gridlines and Page breaks check boxes. 4. Click OK to save the settings and return to the worksheet. 5. On the File menu, click Save As. 6. In the Save as type list, select Template(*.xlt) 7. In the Filename text box, enter a name of the template file. 8. Click Save. This save the file name as atemplate file. Important: You can save a copy in the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\XLSTART. So that whenever you create a new excel document this template is used.
