Hello,
I've encountered something that I've never seen before in Excel (and has nor happened on two different computers). I attempted to open an Excel file on the first computer and it seemed to run normally except the worksheet didn't become visible. If you hit Tab, you can see it's cycling through different cells. If you go to Print Preview, it's visible. But you literally can't see the sheet. It's not off to the side or bottom as the cursor doesn't pick up an edge. I went to windows, selected Arrange, and chose a different setting and it finally appeared. THis particular sheet had a lot of different formulas and my theory was that it kind of "hard coded" something on the sheet and didn't give it another thought. Then it happened on a second computer. This sheet was MUCH simpler than the first. Only a few =sum formulas...so that blows my original theory. Has anyone seen this type of thing before? And if so, what could be the cause? Thank you in advance, Jack |

If the workbook is used by lots of people, then each person can customize the
way it's displayed for them. I find that when I used a desktop at work and others used their laptops, the display settings could make it so that if the window were saved less than maximized and more than minimized, then it could float off the viewable area. I'd just use window|arrange|tiled and resize manually. This sounds pretty close to what you experienced. This is exactly the case. Thank you so much for the help. It's one of the
strangest things I've encountered as far as Excel goes and was really baffling us. Thanks Again, Jack "Dave Peterson" wrote: If the workbook is used by lots of people, then each person can customize the way it's displayed for them.
