When I delete Columns & rows in Excel, I find the application taking a long
time to respond & many times , returns EXCEL NOT Responding. What could be the reason. I tried detect & repair feature. In reinstalled the Office 2003. But yet the problem persists. Any help please |

Sounds like a memory problem. Try saving the sheet before deleting. Do you have any formulae like =SUM($A$1:A1) copied down over a large range? They can take an inordinate amount of to calculate, and can cause the sort of problem you describe. Try setting ToolsCalculationto Manual, carry out your deletions, then set it back to Automatic. -- Regards Roger Govier "Ananth" wrote in message ...
