When my worksheet is unprotected I can place my cursor on the cell that has a
comment attached to it and the comment will display, but when I protect the worksheet this doesn't apply. I must click on unhide comment to see the comment instead of just placing my cursor on the cell with the comment. How can I fix this so that I can get the same affect as if it was unprotected? Thank you, Sarah |

I assume by 'cursor' you mean mouse pointer. When I place my mouse pointer
over a cell with a comment, the comment appears whether the workbook is protected (Tools, Protection, Protect Sheet) or not. I don't know why you wouldn't see this. -- Jim "Sarah" wrote in message ... | When my worksheet is unprotected I can place my cursor on the cell that has a | comment attached to it and the comment will display, but when I protect the | worksheet this doesn't apply. Yes I meant mouse pointer.
I have an autofilter on that cell. If I remove the autofilter, then yes I can view the comment with or without the worksheet protection. So how can I view it having the autofilter on?
