Default Show Comments on Protected Sheet

Yes I meant mouse pointer.

I have an autofilter on that cell. If I remove the autofilter, then yes I
can view the comment with or without the worksheet protection.

So how can I view it having the autofilter on?

I assume by 'cursor' you mean mouse pointer. When I place my mouse pointer
over a cell with a comment, the comment appears whether the workbook is
protected (Tools, Protection, Protect Sheet) or not. I don't know why you
wouldn't see this.
