covert excel to access files
I have two 4000 row/record Excel file that I need to convert to Access data
bases. I know a little about Excel...but nothing about Access ? I don't see an export or convert function anywhere in Excel for Access. Is there a way or can someone point me to a web site that shows how to do this ? Neither Excel files is complicated or has any formulas, etc. It is and will be used as a mailing list that will be updated from time to time. Thanks, Tim R |

covert excel to access files
With Access open and a database running (create a blank one if you dont have
one yet) choose file/get external data/import - then its a case of choosing the location and file type to suit excel, then follow the import wizard "TimR" wrote: I have two 4000 row/record Excel file that I need to convert to Access data bases. covert excel to access files
You could save asfile type dBASE IV(*.dbf) which Access will open.
