Default Move Selection

I know that under "tools" the"options" there is an "edit" tab and the "Move
Selction after Enter" has a drop down box that allows you 4 different options
up, down, left or right. I want to be able to tab over and at the end of my
row hit "Enter" and have it start at the beginning of the next row. I have
done this many times and now I am unable to do it as that drop down box has
me limited to what ever is selected and I cannot undo it or leave it blank.
HELP!!!!

Default Move Selection

You sure you have little checkbox checked at "Move Selection after Enter"?

If not, the drop-down will be grayed out.

Default Move Selection

Yes, the box is checked and so it moves only to what is selected in the drop
down box. I want it to go back to the beginning of a new row after I hit the
enter key, it has done this in the past and now I cannot get it to move
except for either down, up, left or right.
Thanks for your help, any other suggetions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Default Move Selection

My mistake.

I thought you said you could not change the direction of movement.

that drop down box has
me limited to what ever is selected and I cannot undo it or leave it blank

Now you say you are limited to down, right, left or up which is standard.

Set it to move down.

Start in A1 and Tab key across to G1.....hit Enter key and you should go to A2

Where do you wind up using this method?
