I've tried & tried to protect only certain cells in a worksheet to protect
formulae, but can't seem to find how to do it. Any suggestions? Katee |

Protect only certain Cells?
All cells are "locked" by default, but "locking" does not mean anything until
you protect the worksheet from the "Tools-Protection" menu. So your first task is to select any cells that a user IS allowed to change (use the ctrl button to select all of them at once), then hit Ctrl+1 and go to the "Security" tab to unlock those cells. Then go to Tools-Protection-Protect Sheet, and you can assign a password or not. -- Please remember to indicate when the post is answered so others can benefit from it later.
