Default List feature in XL 2003

For some reason I decided to create a spreadsheet that uses XL 2003's list
feature, which feature is not available in previous versions. Now I realize
I have to send this document to someone who uses XL 2000. How does XL handle
this? Does it just ignore the list feature when opened in pre-XL 2003
versions?

Thanks,

Dave
