Default highlighting cells

Hi,
I have a tables of names, and I would like the name to be highlighted when
selected in a different cell,

example
table 1 in cells a1 john a2 jim a3 jayne
when cell a5 is equal to john, I would like john to be highlighted,

Apply conditional formatting for the table, condition: cell value/ equals/
=$A$5
