Maybe you can just lock all the cells on the worksheet and protect the
worksheet. If you have formulas that you want never to be re-evaluated, you'll want to convert them to values, too. select the range edit|copy edit|paste special|values But I really don't know what archive means. bigboy wrote: how can i archive worksheets within a workbook without starting a new workbook? -- Dave Peterson |

hi, thanks for your reply, i would like to put these worksheets aside somehow
within the same workbook or start another workbook and archive them. I do not know what is the best solution "bigboy" wrote: how can i archive worksheets within a workbook without starting a new workbook? |

I'd just save that workbook with a new name:
MyArchivedWorkbook.xls And never touch it again.
