My boss is teaching a class to our office on how to use Microsoft Excel. He
wants to present various Excel icons(summation, pivot table, conditional formatting) and have our employees name the icon shown on a sheet of paper. How can I get these Excel symbols into Microsoft Word? |

Download Doug Glancy's faceidviewer add-in.
http://www.dailydoseofexcel.com/inde...&name=&paged=3 You can load it and copy any Toolbar Icon. The icon is a graphic that can be re-sized to your choice. Paste into Word. Gord,
I downloaded the link you gave me. When I opened the FaceIdViewer, I could not select any of the Excel icons. How do I select and copy these icons once I have downloaded FaceIdViewer? Is this because I have the 2007 version of Excel? Thanks Colin "Gord Dibben" wrote: Download Doug Glancy's faceidviewer add-in. http://www.dailydoseofexcel.com/inde...&name=&paged=3 You can load it and copy any Toolbar Icon. I cannot test with 2007......don't have it installed.
With earlier versions after loading the add-in through ToolsAdd-ins you would go to ToolsFaceIDViewer to open the FaceID Palette. Then just left-click on a button to copy it. Paste and resize.
