Default is there a way to get back deleted worksheet in excel

Hi My husband accidently deleted a work sheet from his excel spreadsheet. We
cannot figure out how to get it back if is it too late?

Can you close the workbook without saving and reopen it--you will lose some
changes, though?

Can you go to windows explorer and copy the open file to a new name. Then open
that second version and copy the worksheet to the first?

Can you open a second instance of excel
Windows|start button|Run
excel

Open the file in readonly mode and save it as a new name.
Then close the second instance and open that new file in the first instance and
copy that?
