Default one sheet-different users, different access to different ranges

hi!

i would like to know if it's possible to have one worksheet with different
columns with different passwords..i would like to have one general worksheet
but certain columns hidden for viewing and editing to people..i would like
the rest of the columns to be editable while these hidden columns remain
locked

i would appreciate any help
