Default Column headings changed from ABC to 123 format

Somehow the column headings in Excel 2003 changed from ABC to 123 (so cell
references would be 11 instead of A1) How do I change them back?

ToolsOptionsGeneral tab Uncheck R1C1 reference style

Thanks! I did finally find what to check after I posted the question, but it
is one that is not easy to find in the office help.
